研究テーマ

エネルギー代謝疾患を対象として動物や培養細胞を使いその病態生化学的基礎・応用研究を行なう。

食欲は、摂食制御中枢である視床下部と摂食活動やエネルギー代謝を担う末梢臓器間のクロストークにより複雑かつ巧妙に調節されており、その破綻が肥満や痩せの原因となっています。本研究室では、摂食障害を中心に、展開研究の立場から食欲調節ホルモンや機能性食品と病態との関連を解析し、摂食関連疾患のための創薬研究へと発展させて行きます。
